If you’re looking for a sugary, cute, tasty little treat, this is the place for you!
When I first arrived at Annalore’s Bakery, I was instantly hooked by its cozy decor. A large, circular window lined the place, allowing lots of light into the room. The bakery was very, very spacious, with lots of seating. All the food was presented very well, and they had a large assortment of dishes, most of them being sweets, but with a few savory danishes. I chose two macarróns for my snack, one black berry and one Bavarian crème.
The Bavarian crème macarrón was very flavorful. The macarrón itself had a great texture, with a thin crust and fluffy cookie. The flavor was bright yet soft, and overall a great macarrón. The second of the two, the blackberry, wasn’t quite as flavorful. It was extremely vibrant, and the cookie texture was similar to the crème one. The cream, however, was more of a jelly. The flavor itself was a good sweet and sour mix. Overall the macarons were great, but a little plain. And all and all, it was a great bakery, with nice decor and good food. Highly recommend Annalore’s for a cute date or an outing for a group of friends!
El Amigo is a good stop if you’re looking for nice, authentic Mexican food. The restaurant’s interior is simple, but the restaurant is strung with plants and Mexican decor. The food itself is great, and they offer a variety of dishes, both large and small. All the food was priced pretty well. I ordered chicken tacos and french fries, and both were pretty tasty. The chicken was smokey and cooked very well, and all the toppings came together nicely, none too overpowering. The tacos shell was nice and smooth, and though the tacos were pretty small, they're priced accordingly. Next are the french fries. They had a bit of a different taste then I would have expected, but they were delicious. I don’t like my fries too salty, so the french fries were great. For drinks they had a large drink cooler, with sodas and other bottled drinks. They didn’t have much in the way of dessert, but they did have a couple options that did sound delicious. Overall, it was a nice place, with good food, good music, and a great atmosphere.
This was definitely some of the best slices I’ve ever had.
Di Fara's Pizza has pretty normal decor, and it’s pretty much exactly what you would see if you thought of a normal sports bar. It had lots of seating areas, TVs placed around the restaurant, and a bar. After our group and I took a while to talk about what we wanted, we decided on two pizzas, a magerita, a white pizza, and garlic knots. Only just a little while later, they both arrived, and we dug into the garlic knots. These were definitely the best garlic knots I have ever had. They were fantastically buttery, with a crunchy outside and a soft, doughy amazing inside. Every knot was covered in parmesan cheese. They explode in your mouth in a warm, gooey, garlic bomb. Absolutely delish!
Next was the pizza. The slices were long and thin, and they both looked fabulous. I got one slice of each, and immediately took a bite in the white pizza. The crust was thin and crispy, full of flavor, and the cheese had great flavor and texture. Both slices were covered in basil, which fit perfectly with the pizza's flavor. The margherita pizza was also fantastic! The pepperoni was blasting with flavor! The pizzas sauce was full of flavor and absolutely amazing. The crust was just as good, and was very tasty! Out of both the slices, the white pizza was my favorite, just due to personal preferences, but everything in the restaurant was great! Highly recommended for a group of friends or a family dinner!
Geluna gelato is an adorable gelato shop! With its aesthetically pleasing decor and kind staff, it was a great experience. The shop is covered in green furniture, plants, and a large window, shining light into the whole store. I ordered the cookies and cream gelato, which came with a wafer. I fall in love the moment I took a bite! The gelato had a great texture, amazing, almost gooey. The gelato itself was great, and the cookie chunks added texture and flavor! The wafer was also a great addition, being crunchy and thin and going great with the icecream. The gelato was so good, I got a pint to take home! Definitely would recommend it for anyone that wants great gelato!
The Kababish Cafe is absolutely delicious! The cafe itself is beautiful, with blue lighting and cool decor that really added to the experience. A couple of my friends and I sat down in a booth and desired what to get! They had a good amount of options, salads, curry’s, breads, and dessert. I ordered the buttered chicken, garlic naan, and gulab jamun for dessert! After a bit, the food arrived, and it both looked and smelled amazing! I quickly dug in, mixing some of the buttered chicken and rice, and it was amazing!! I absolutely loved it, and ended up eating all of it! It was great, and the chicken was really good. Next, I tried the garlic naan, and it tasted amazing!! It was very buttery and full of fantastic garlicky flavor. The texture was great too, both crunchy and fluffy. I washed it all down with some lemonade, and finally tried the gulab jamun, and it was so sweet! It melted in your mouth, a ball of delicious sugary sweetness. Overall, the food was great, and I would definitely go again!
If you’re looking for an adorable, tasty snack, chocolate smiles is the place for you! When we first entered, we were met with the fantastic smell of chocolate and mint. After a tour about chocolate making, in which we learned everything we could about chocolateteering! We saw how they make all their different kinds of chocolate and molds, while we got to ask questions and taste test! After the amazing tour, we picked out our treats! I chose a sponge chocolate and a white chocolate truffle. The white truffle was super sweet and smooth. The cream on the inside was very thick and smooth. The white chocolate itself was full of flavor, and the truffle was absolutely mouth watering. Next was the sponge chocolate, and it was even better! The “sponge” on the inside almost tasted like a freeze dried caramel. The milk chocolate was full of flavor, and its smooth texture paired perfectly with the crunchy inside. Overall, the experience was very enjoyable, and I love it! I will definitely go again!
