My first impression of El Amigo was that it was an older Mexican restaurant. It looked old and western from the outside. It looks like the 80's or 90’s from the inside and has many paintings and posters. Our server was polite and our food came out quickly. I had a chicken torta, which is basically a chicken, avocado, tomato, and other ingredient sandwich. The torta was really good looking and tasted even better! The chicken was flavorful, the bread was soft and also tasty, and the avocados and tomatoes were a very good pairing. The atmosphere and food made me content and full. I would definitely recommend El Amigo for a good lunch.

My first impression of Annelore’s was that it was old because it looked like a 1950's bakery from the outside. From the inside, It had a clean, friendly, vibe, because the inside was white and they played music at a low volume. Another thing I noticed was that they had a wide selection of baked goods, from bread to lemon bars. The lady who worked there was polite and quickly handed me the macaron that I ordered. She took a very short time to hand the 13 people their pastries (most of which were macarons, pretzels, and slices of cake). She was also open to talking about the German roots of the bakery and other things about the bakery. The macaron I had was green and looked dry originally. I was surprised because when I ate the macaron, it was a little moist and there wasn’t too much cream in it. The flavor of the bread part of it was paired well with the cream, having contrasting, but similar flavors. The macaron is overall pretty good and I would recommend Annelore’s if you pass by it.

Geluna gelato looked very modern from the outside. The inside of the gelato place also looked modern, with white counters, white floor, and white walls. The guy who scooped for us was good at doing it and clearly had experience. They had options for a small cup with up to 2 flavors, or a classic for up to 3 flavors. I chose to have a small cup with coffee and sea salt caramel flavors. The coffee gelato tasted just like coffee with some sugar, and the sea salt caramel had salt you could taste and a sweet caramel flavor. Overall, the gelato was delicious and made for a great experience.

When I first saw Di Fara from the outside, it looked kind of like a sports bar. When I went inside, it looked like a typical pizza place with a bar. The woman who served us gave us water and asked for drink orders. The woman was very polite and nice, checking back with us a lot. We ordered a White Pizza, a chaos pizza, cheese pizza, and garlic knots. The garlic knots came first and were pesto filled buttery presents. The chaos pizza had garlic, sausage, onion, and tomato, which made it very flavorful (especially the meat). The white pizza had a flavorful taste of ricotta and was good. I didn’t have the cheese pizza but people did like it. The pizza made me leave happy and filled.

When we went into Kababish, the atmosphere was kind of traditional, not like a commercial chain. A woman first gave us our menus and then asked for drink orders. She was very nice. I ordered a mango lassie and so did many other people. When the I first tasted the lassie, I was amazed by the burst of abundant flavor and sweetness. I would recommend getting the mango lassie if you end up going here. I ordered a tandoori chicken, which took a little while but came out well. The chicken was large, like half a chicken maybe, and was crispy and red with seasoning. It came out in a bed of rice with spiced vegetables. I was only able to eat half of the chicken but my first bite was terrific because it was so flavorful. The chicken was also juicy and almost, fall off the bone, tender. Overall, the atmosphere and food led to a great experience that I would totally recommend.
