Annelore’s German Bakery

At Annelore’s German Bakery, I had a phenomenal time! My first impression gave off a very fancy and classy vibe. The music was classic symphony and all the pastries were lined up near flowers in a neat way. It was all astonishingly beautiful and I enjoyed the atmosphere very much. It was a very spacious environment with not many people except for me and the people I was with. The actual decor and aesthetic was nice though! 

The members were so kind, sweet, and very helpful. They helped me out with what was inside and the name of the food I wanted to try out. In the end, I decided to get the German Raspberry Cheesecake and the Bavarian Cream Macaron. What I liked a lot was that the food was not pricey at all and balanced perfectly in the price range. After I ordered, I waited at a nice round table I found in the room. The staff were amazing, but the delivery wasn't exactly what I was expecting because it was better! The food arrived so quickly that I didn't even realize! 

The cheesecake was not very colorful other than the stunning raspberries, but the macron looked very tempting to try. I dug into the cheesecake first and wasn't completely satisfied with the taste. I mean it was very delicious but I couldn’t seem to taste the raspberry in the cake. I wish the raspberry cheesecake was a bit more balanced together. Other than that, it was a really delightful cheesecake! I moved onto my next treat which was also my last. I took a bite of the macron and I thought of eggnog. I finished the macron in a few bites because it was very tasty! If you like eggnog though, you will definitely like this macron! 

Overall, this bakery was a very good experience and I definitely will come again! I recommend going if you want a quick sweet and savory treat! Highly recommended with a friend or family member as well!

At El Amigo Mexican Restaurant, I had an outstanding time! My first impression gave off a very homey, traditional, creative, and very cultured vibe. The music was a Mexican melody and the place was decorated with Mexican culture decorations. It wasn't very spacious but there was lots of space to sit down and enjoy your meal. There was not only indoor seating, but there was seating outside and inside a barn!   

The staff were friendly and introduced me to New Mexican foods! I ended up ordering the Cheese Quesadilla aka “una quesadilla de queso”, the French Fries aka “papas fritas”, and the Jarritos Guava Soda! First, I tried the Guava flavored soda and it was absolutely one of the best drinks I have ever tasted! I could really taste the guava and the sweetness hidden inside the drink. Not just this soda, but they had many more options that I thought were so cool and fascinating! They had different types of lemonades, milks, jarritos, arizonas, aloe vera’s, and so many more! They also of course had your simple favorites like Gatorade, Dr Pepper and all the others. 

Next, I tried the fries and oh my! They were casual and simple fries but they were so good that words just could not express it! They were warm and tasted fresh too! The last food I tried was the cheese quesadilla. My first bite was a big one because I was too excited from the delicious looks and smells of the quesadilla! The cheese melted in my mouth and it was even a little warm, the perfect quesadilla. 

Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant because it brought huge smiles to me and to others! This restaurant really represented the Mexican culture in foods and in the atmosphere in the room. I would recommend going here for lunch or for dinner with a few friends! I absolutely enjoyed and loved it here and I know you will too!

At Geluna Gelato, I had a delightful time! My first impression was a very pleasant and sweet environment that was presented around me. It smelled very nice like s’mores gelato if that’s even a thing! There was jolly music playing and it was all such a beautiful atmosphere. The aesthetic of the gelato filled room was cute and there were even little toy ice creams on the windows at the front. I could tell the seating was very limited but still, there were options like taking a cup of delicious gelato and walking around Downtown Cary. The workers and staff here were sweet and helpful with providing people with their favorite choice of gelato. I did learn some cool and interesting things at Geluna! 

Did you know that gelato is made with mostly whole milk and less cream and that it’s the opposite for ice cream? And that ice cream is about 50 percent air because they churn the cream fast but for gelato, it's about 24 percent air because they churn the cream slower! The atmosphere, environment, aesthetic, decorations, background, and staff was all amazing! I had only a small problem. The price. I would definitely say that the gelato is a little overpriced but it is worth it!

It was a very difficult decision to make but I finally decided on the strawberry sorbet and the cookies and cream. My first bite of the strawberry sorbet was a bite of joy. It was so good! I could taste the freshness in the gelato and even if it was not homemade, it tasted like it was! The texture was smooth and perfect. As for the cookies and cream, my first bite was also a good one. It melted in my mouth and the little cookie oreo parts evened out perfectly in the gelato. It was a very basic flavor but it was still so flavorful. The temperatures of both the gelato felt nice and cooled my tongue when I ate it in joy. Overall, this is a really nice place to grab a friend and share a sweet treat!
